Racing at Home: Duo Trading at the Tasmania Super440
As Tasmania’s exclusive distributor for TotalEnergies, it was incredibly rewarding to see our branding alongside TotalEnergies’ on the Erebus Motorsport Chevrolet Camaros during Round 5 of the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship. Watching those cars charge around Symmons Plains carrying the Duo Trading name made the whole weekend feel that little bit more special.
Across the weekend, Cooper Murray and Jobe Stewart pushed hard in all three races. The results weren’t quite where the team wanted them, but anyone involved or interested in motorsport knows weekends don’t always go to plan. What stood out to us was the effort behind the scenes — the work ethic of the Erebus crew, the way the team carried themselves all weekend, and the determination both drivers showed every time they rolled out of pit lane. There’s a lot to respect about a team that keeps digging in and finding ways to compete.
For us, the connection with TotalEnergies goes well beyond logos on a race car. The same TotalEnergies Quartz lubricants and performance fluids used in those Camaros are products we supply to customers across Tasmania every day. Whether it’s workshops, transport fleets, agriculture or industrial equipment, those products are trusted in tough operating conditions — and motorsport is about as demanding as it gets.
Duo Trading has now been part of the Tasmanian industry for 50 years, built on local relationships, experience, and backing the people and businesses that keep the state moving. Being involved in an event like the Tasmania Super440 alongside TotalEnergies and Erebus Motorsport was something the whole team was proud to be part of.
The results may not have gone the way everyone hoped but the experience itself made the weekend one worth remembering.
